In Germany, several groups of people are recognized as being particularly vulnerable. This includes women, children, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex persons, persons with disabilities or severe illness, persons affected by human trafficking, religious minorities, as well as persons who have experienced torture or sexualized violence. These individuals need special protections while living in refugee housing. Please contact members of staff with any questions. Here, you can address these topics free from fear or shame.

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex persons have the option of accessing specialized counselling and support. This may also be relevant to the asylum claim.

You can contact us with questions at any time, and request to speak privately, without your partner or family present. You have a right to confidential, individual counselling and advice. We treat your personal information as strictly confidential.
